The company is pleased to announce the promotion of Tom Woolston to Commercial Director from 1st July 2022.

Tom joined Express Concrete in August 2019 and has played a major role in expanding the companies customer base and growing its commercial presence through his dedication and hard work.

During this time he has been a key player on a number of high profile projects and we look forward to him continuing to grow the business following the opening of our Wembley plant in Summer 2022

Another flooring job complete for Level Best Concrete Flooring Ltd at Rennie Drive, DA1. 2,500m3 warehouse floor. 

A huge day of 332.5m3 poured in Erith for CBS Concreting Ltd. 558.5m3 poured over 2 days to allow the client early access to slabs. Great work all round!

Concrete pour of 1st floor slab has commenced on site at Nuxley Rd, Belvedere for Foundation Developments Limited on behalf of Skillcrown.

We recently completed our second project with Stanford Industrial Concrete Flooring Ltd. The project for Readie Construction Ltd involved ten consecutive pours totaling 2530 cubic metres to a new facility in Dartford. We supplied the concrete from our new Erith plant.

Continuing supply of concrete to this 13,000m3 project at Westfield Avenue, Stratford.

It’s been a month of celebration in the Express office! Our MD Chris Casey turned 60 and our newest member of the team, Jake Holmwood turned 21.
 

Jake has joined Express Concrete as an internal sales co-ordinator. We welcome him to the team and look forward to our future working together. 

We are very please to have started this project at Yeo Street, E3 with Mitchellson Formwork & Civil Engineering Ltd.

PROJECT UPDATE

We continue to supply this 10,000m3 project at Canary Wharf for our valued client O’Halloran & O’Brien Ltd. 

​

We are well out of the ground now on this small footprint site and look forward to completing this project in the near future.

We recently completed the Tower Hamlets Town Hall project for Kelbray Group.

​

They completed a 40m x 8m shaft at the Grade II listed former Royal London Hospital on behalf of Bouygues UK to form an attenuation tank. This excavation area was one of the most critical locations to get progressed to unlock the frame works. 

​We have just completed the concrete supply for GSS Piling on a challenging project in East London. Works continued throughout the lockdown period and were finished safely and on schedule. 

​

The critical project deadline and pour sequences meant we were required to remain operational from both Barking & Erith plants.
